A few minutes up the road from Gatlinburg is Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy the many delights of Dollywood Theme Park<\/a> including live entertainment, rides, attractions, and seasonal events. During the warmer months, cool off at Dollywood’s Splash Country<\/a> water park with rides and slides.<\/p>\n

Savor the flavor of the area’s local history while touring the vineyards and sampling a taste of the grape at one of the wineries along the Rocky Top Wine Trail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you just want to relax, enjoy the scenery, and absorb the magnificence of the setting, there’s hiking, canoeing, white water rafting, kayaking, and horseback riding within Great Smoky Mountains National Park<\/a>.
