Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are bursting at the seams with talented performers and high-quality entertainment, and you can prove this to yourself any evening with dinner theater in Pigeon Forge, at the Smith Family Dinner Show.<\/p>\n

Charlie, Jim and Charlie Bob Smith put on an award-winning variety show at the Smith Family Dinner Theater in Pigeon Forge that pays homage to southern culture and music. They call themselves three men with a thousand voices, and demonstrate this nightly with perfect harmonies in a variety of musical styles, and audaciously good impersonations of a host of characters.<\/p>\n

The theater has been expanding its range of shows in recent years, starting with the Smith Family Dinner Show and last year adding the Hazzard County Hoe Down on alternate nights. In high season, Sunday evening offers the “Back to the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s & 80’s Show” also, with some matinees during the week. Check the schedule<\/a> for show times of all the offerings.<\/p>\n

The Smith Family’s blend of comedy and music delivers a menu of classic country and rock-n-roll, bluegrass, inspirational gospel and quartet-style music, mixed with clean family humor and all-you-can-eat servings of mouthwatering southern food.<\/p>\n

The shows are great fun for all tastes and ages. At the Dinner Show watch for the tribute to Mayberry and the old-fashioned hula-hoop contest. Meanwhile the recent addition of Hazzard County offers a lively portrayal of all your favorite Dukes characters combined with impersonated celebrities passing through the Boss Hogg speed trap.<\/p>\n

For this year, starting June 1 and lasting through August 15, the Smith Family Theater is now offering the only Character Breakfast<\/strong> in the Smoky Mountains. It’s all you can eat buffet-style, in the company of characters such as Davy Crockett, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, a Pirate, a Princess and many more.<\/p>\n
