Smoky Mountain Llama Treks offers a variety of different trail experiences to suit any group according to skill level and availability. From short trips on a trail right near their farm to extended overnight trips with camping gear provided, you can book the type of experience that makes sense for you. Llamas are not built to take humans riding on their back, so the trekking is all done at a walking pace.<\/p>\n

All of the hikes proceed at a fairly relaxed pace to allow the llamas time to pace themselves and graze along the way, so it never ends up being too strenuous for most hikers. Please keep in mind that advanced booking is required for all trek trips. No matter what adventure you choose you\u2019ll still get to spend some time in the beautiful outdoors and hang out with some llamas.<\/p>\n

Visit the llama farm, let the kids pet some animals, and more<\/strong><\/p>\n

What kid doesn\u2019t love some one-on-one time with a cuddly animal? If you prefer to skip the trekking and instead check out the llama farm while petting the llamas, that\u2019s always an option as well. You\u2019ll have an opportunity to pet them, feed them, and learn about their history and habitat. It\u2019s an educational and fun experience for all involved, and families are raving about this unique experience.<\/p>\n

If you and the kids can’t get enough of the animal adventures on your Smoky Mountain vacation, consider fitting in some other attractions such as the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm and Exotic Petting Zoo<\/a>, Parrot Mountain and Gardens<\/a>, and the Rainforest Adventure Zoo<\/a>. These are all located on the east side of the region near Smoky Mountain Llama Treks. You can combine multiple excursions in a single day to spend even more time with these exotic animals.<\/p>\n
