Festival of Nations 2017 at Dollywood

Spring comes and winter weather exits the Smoky Mountains, and Dollywood reopens its doors – on Saturday, March 18, 2017 – for hours of fun, excitement, and entertainment at Tennessee’s premier theme park.

Set your calendar for opening day and get ready to experience cultures from around the world at Festival of Nations 2017, which runs from March 18 through April 9.

During the festival, the park becomes a canvas of brilliantly colored, handcrafted traditional costumes from exotic cultures, and a showcase for a multitude of talent and entertainment – and food. Winter Carnival of Magic 2017

The 43rd Annual Winter Carnival of Magic happens in Pigeon Forge on March 9-11, 2017, with a host of world class talent performing in two evening magic shows for the public on Friday and Saturday nights, and with magic supply vendors, workshops and competitions for conventioneers at this 3-day event.

Winter Carnival of Magic his staged again this year at the Country Tonite theater located just off Parkway at 129 Showplace Blvd. This is the area’s most state-of-the-art theater with beautiful sound and lighting, great seating and giant video screens, as well as lots of parking – very important in this bustling town.

Smoky Mountain Snowdown Festival 2017 in Townsend, TN

The festival features live music, lots of food including a Chili Cook off, expert history of the area presented in tales and tunes, as well as arts & crafts from the local artisan community as it shows some of its best moves.

Townsend for many people is the gateway to Cades Cove, and this festival is a celebration of the heritage and natural beauty of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and especially of Cades Cove, rich in history and lore. Music and art will demonstrate East Tennessee culture, deep and old and yet completely modern and present.
