Sweetheart Month: Renew Your Wedding Vows at the Titanic

Welcome to February! Valentine’s Day is coming and love is in the air for Smoky Mountain romantic getaways, as we know. And now, in between ice carving exhibitions, the Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge is holding all February as its Sweetheart Month.

Valentine’s Day will be celebrated all month long at the Titanic, and it’s the perfect time for couples to renew their vows, on the Grand Staircase of the Titanic, in an elegant and stylish ceremony presided over by the ship’s captain.

Couples renew their marriage vows for many reasons, including to have a better celebration than they could manage at the time. But mainly it’s simply (and wonderfully) just to reaffirm their love and commitment for each other.

A wedding vow renewal ceremony is a heartwarming event to attend as a guest, seeing lovers walk each other down the aisle, together this time, or even escorted by their children (which is guaranteed to get the whole room smiling).

The Titanic’s ceremony is hugely popular with couples renewing their vows, so if you’re planning this, be sure to call ahead to reserve your ceremony and to decide on your particular arrangements, at 800-381-7670. Also check the Titanic vow renewals package page.

ps..this is not a wedding ceremony, you still have to go through channels to do that! Take a look at our wedding page for information on getting married in the Smoky Mountains. And by the way, how about staying in a honeymoon cabin this time around? We have them all over the area – see our Gatlinburg cabins, a Pigeon Forge cabin rental or our Wears Valley cabins to the west. We have over 400 cabins to choose from!

About Carrie Waxler

I've worked for Gatlinburg Falls since March 2011. Lived in TN since 1996. I have now hiked Mt. LeConte three times. I've been on every trail that leads to the top. The last one we hiked up the Boulevard. I have walked my first 2.7 miles on the Appalachian Trail. Only 2176 miles to go. I plan to hike the Appalachian Trail when my children graduate. I also love lake kayaking on Cherokee Lake and Douglas Lake. We take our kayaks camping to middle Tennessee as well for river kayaking. I love talking to guests from the places I've visited or lived. Brings back many good memories. I love to be where people are having fun.
