Wild Bear Falls Water Park in Gatlinburg

Wild Bear Falls Water Park in Gatlinburg is an indoor water park that stays open year-round through all the seasons, a great place to splash even in the worst of weather. It features a retractable roof for maximum advantage of sunshine, and heated water that doesn’t care about cold temperatures outside. And during the summer, it’s a great place to cool down, for locals and visitors alike.

Wild Bear Falls is part of the Westgate Resorts chain, but accommodation here is not required – the water park operates on a separate ticket. So you can stay in a cabin and make a day trip excursion to the water park at will.

The water park offers a variety of courses tailored for different age groups, including a zero-depth splash pad for the tiniest tots on your crew – no one gets left out here. The kids will quickly find the interactive treehouse as well, amid the water slides. Float down the lazy river while you choose your own favorite attraction.

The various water courses and attractions of the 60,000 square-foot water park are named after the natural waterfalls and flowing waters of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, emulating the features of each famous place.

Find your favorites from these attractions in Wild Bear Falls Water Park:

  • Ramsey Cascades – rushing waters, an interactive treehouse, flowing water and a 300-gallon water dump to get you laughing. Slides and water spouts, and not too deep at 1.5 feet.
  • Little Pigeon River – for the tots to splash at zero depth.
  • Cades Cove – 900-foot lazy river for tubing, 3.5 feet depth.
  • Clingman’s Dome – a high point to slide down from, a 350-foot tube glide, ending in a splash!
