Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg is the most visited aquarium in the country, and voted #1 on TripAdvisor. It’s a large and exotic place, containing several different marine environments from around the world, teeming with more than 10,000 sea creatures from more than 350 different species.
The created environments include both salt water and freshwater domains, and range from deep ocean to shallow lagoon habitats, from coral reef to shoreline, and even an Amazon Rain-forest environment. The colors of the many creatures are brilliant and dazzling, with perfect lighting.
