Shelley’s cabin featured 5 king bedrooms, 2 queen sleeper sofas, and 2 twin sleeper sofas — perfect for her entire family. Other amenities included a fireplace, premium cable and 7 flat screen TVs, a home theater, and a game room. Two Families Share One Cabin in the Smokies

Kasey and her family came to stay with us recently, and wrote up her impressions of the trip. We always appreciate these views through other eyes of cabin vacation time. What made this trip so interesting was they shared the cabin with another family. It worked out well, and could probably only have worked using a cabin for accommodations.

Kasey’s family includes four kids, while their friend’s family has two, so it was four adults and six kids sharing a 5-bedroom cabin. The good news is that there was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable, with quiet space when needed and communal times such as meals together. And then there was the game room, which kept both the kids and adults occupied and having fun.

Lynette’s Trip to Gatlinburg

Recently, Lynette and her family visited Gatlinburg Falls Resort and stayed at one of our luxurious cabins. Lynette is a writer from Ohio who came to enjoy the beautiful springtime weather in the Smoky Mountains. The whole family took day trips out to attractions in the Gatlinburg area. In the evenings, they enjoyed their cabin’s amenities and Lynette was happy to share the experience with us.

Lynette stayed in one of our 4-bedroom, two story cabins, Cypress Lodge. Like all of our cabins, this offered spectacular views of the forests and Smoky Mountains just outside. The inside of the cabin offered plenty of room for her and her whole family, with numerous amenities, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Victoria’s Breathtaking Cabin Vacation

Victoria, blogger and creative force behind the lifestyle website Simply Today Life, loves to travel, and she understands how important family vacations are for strengthening familial bonds and giving everyone a chance to recharge through new experiences. She, along with her husband and two children, recently had the opportunity to visit the Smoky Mountains region and stay in one of our well-appointed cabins. The family had plenty of great things to say about their trip, and they can’t wait for their next opportunity to return!

The views from our Smoky Mountains cabins are always among the first things to take our guests’ breath away, and that was the case with Victoria as well. She loved that she could see the majestic, snow-capped mountains, and parts of the town of Gatlinburg right from their balcony. This meant they were able to get somewhat of a secluded experience for their cabin vacation, but were also close enough to many of the popular attractions in town.

Shelly’s Ultimate Cabin Vacation

We’re always glad to hear about other people’s great experiences staying in one of our Smoky Mountains luxury cabins. Here’s what Southern-lifestyle specialist Shelly had to say about her family’s Gatlinburg getaway.

Shelly reports that her family had an amazing stay in Cypress Lodge, a newly finished 4-bedroom cabin with richly detailed decor. The amenities were plentiful, with king beds in each of the four bedrooms along with two queen pull-out sleepers and 1 bunk bed set. There was no standing in line for the shower as the cabin had four full bathrooms and two half-baths, and a hot tub on one of the decks for good measure. And, there was no need to worry about finding a laundry or packing extra clothes because the cabin had its own washer and dryer. These things make a big difference for a mom and her family on vacation.

Niki’s Smoky Mountain Cabin Vacation

Recently, travel writer Niki, who blogs at Adventures of a Mid-Life Mommy, had the opportunity to visit the Smoky Mountains region and stay in one of our cabins. Niki is a Tennessee native and no stranger to the Smokies, but she was excited for this opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a spell and share some of the magic of the mountains with her family.

Niki has fond memories of the Smokies and Gatlinburg from when she was a child, so she is always delighted to know that the quaint, charming vibe of the town and the friendly residents are still hallmarks of the experience of visiting here. Those initial views of the mountain range in the distance as one crosses into Sevier County never fail to make her feel like she’s coming back home to a beloved place. She and her family stayed in our beautiful cabin named Cypress Lodge, which is a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath unit with a fully furnished kitchen and all of the amenities that a family could need.
